TRAILS WITHIN OUR REGION
Major artery from Carter Brook (SnoBirds) clubhouse in Wallagrass/St.John, heads north to Former railroad tracks Glendale Siding to Market Street, passes in North Perley Brook Powerlines and terminates in Frenchville.
From South Perley Brook to Soldier Pond (Wallagrass/New Canada) on east side of Fish River, runs parallel to RT#161 (Caribou Road) and Strip Road. Slight change on 73 south do not cross RT#161 at former drive-in, now is on south of Bouchard's Country Store (Bouchard farms).
"Carter Brook Shortcut" from ITS 85 direct to Soldier Pond village, crosses RT#11 (Aroostook Road) at Wallagrass Stream area.
Maintained by Twin Lakes SnoRiders-off ITS 85,south through South Perley Brook, splinters off to St. Agatha 83B or to Cross Lake #96.
#73B is now opened ½ mile east,towards Frenchville, from former location
To get to Daigle Pond/Caribou, backtrack ITS 85 north, take 73B south through Michigan settlement, you will hook up to trails there
Former railroad tracks from Glendale Siding (3 miles west of FK Town Office) to American Dream resort in St. John Plantation, meet St. Francis Sno-Angels. #92 from Dickey to Estcourt is not maintained this year due to logging operations
Access only from ITS 85 towards Carter Brook to RT#11 Wallgrass/Fort kent town line.
"Downtown trail" from Village Road (1/4 mile west of FK Town Office), crosses West Main Street, ride on St. John River Dike, pass under International Bridge, terminates mile east of bridge. This is also the connector to New Brunswick 39 (formerly #17), Customs/Immigration open 24-7.
Charette Hill / Park Circle / Northern Maine Medical Center spur
Connects to ITS 85 mile east of where Heritage Trail (former railroad tracks) crosses Market Street.
Former "Downtown 98" spur
From ITS 85, parallel to Fish River east side, from Fish River Bridge to East Main Street (McDonald's).
